We visited Sapa in the Spring of 2007 (mid-March) and saw many cymbidium orchids in full bloom everywhere. We visited again the Orchid Forest at Ham Rong in Sapa and saw only cymbidium and few other Vietnamese orchids had flowers. Last time, we'd come to Sapa in July and saw very few orchids in bloom. We missed the blooming time of Vietnamese orchids in Sapa again! I was told that the peak of orchids blooming in Sapa is around Jan-Feb.

Because of the lack of labelling, I don't have any information about orchid collection at Sapa. I'll buy some orchid books about Vietnamese orchids and edit this page later.
