Vietnam is one of the best places to grow orchids. There are many orchid species found in the tropical rain forests of Vietnam, however, orchid poaching may destroy the rare orchids native to Vietnam. Recently, the fragrant Delentii orchid, once thought to no longer exist in Viet Nam, could make a comeback thanks to a Vietnamese researcher’s recent breakthrough in asexual multiplication of this orchid.
This page contains many beautiful orchids that are grown at some Vietnamese orchid nurseries. Most of orchid farms in Vietnam are small and growing only one type of orchid, like Mokara, Cymbidium, Dendrobium or Phalaenopsis, but the owner also collect some other orchids for their own enjoyment.
