Cymbidium orchids are native to China, India, Indochina, Japan.
Most of commercially growing cymbidiums in Vietnam now are hybrids which were imported from other countries. Cymbidium requires cool temperature, especially the night temperature must be low (around 20C) to flower. Therefore, commercial cymbidium orchid farms are located in Da-Lat area or in the North Vietnam. Pictures of cymbidium orchids in this page were taken from "Anh Quynh" nursery at Da Lat, Vietnam, and at a flower market in Hanoi.
