Lilies are tall plants with narrow leaves, and bearing up to 25 or more
recurved bells, bowls, or trumpets on a stem. Thousands of lily hybrids have
been named. Depend upon species, lilies bloom from early Summer through early
Fall. If you want to know more about lily, please visit the North
American Lily Society. The Royal Horticulture Society and the North American
Lily Society group lilies in divisions. Following are pictures of lilies grown
in the St. Louis (Missouri) area (USDA zone 5-6).
