| Missouri Botanical Garden. Camellia trees were grown in the Linnean house. The Linnean House is the oldest continually operated greenhouse west of the Mississippi River which was built in 1882. There is an extremely rare yellow-flowering camellia, Camellia chrysantha which was collected from Vietnam (you can see this flower in my camellia page). |
