Salvia x sylvestris is a cultivation name for hybrid sages derived chiefly from S. nemorosa, native to Europe and Central Asia. It has densely-flowered, spikes of pure blue flowers which bloom throughout the summer. Flowers are attractive to bees and butterflies.
