Picture white winecup flower

This a wild flower from Texas, New Mexico, Oklohama, Kansas. The blooms can be totally white or they can be streaked with purple or red. They are low growing, have tuberous roots to assist with their survival during drought from which they spread into neat clumps and stay green in the winter.
