Tall bellflower grows mainly in the Great Plains and eastern coast of the United States. Its flowers are light blue to violet and usually form in elongated clusters. The light blue, flat flowers are about 1 inch across and look rather like a 5 pointed star. A really distinguishing characteristic is the long curved protruding style coming from the center of the flower.
