Kalimeris is commonly called double Japanese aster because of its chrysanthemum-like flowers, its Japanese origin and its general resemblance to wild asters. Kalimeris features 1" diameter, white, semi-double, mum-like flowers which bloom profusely in open clusters on an upright, bushy plant, typically growing 2-3' tall.
