Echinopsis is a large genus of cacti ranging from Mexico to deep South America. They are very variable and range from small globular species to large branching columnars. All are known for large trumpet shaped flowers in a profusion of colors. They are very easy to grow, they like rich well draining soil with some sand in the mix. This is a tropical plant that cannot tolerate freezing temperature.
