Scenery along the National Route 2 from Hanoi to Ha-Giang (300 km). |
The topography from Hanoi to Tuyen Quang through Vinh-Phuc is mostly flat land with rice fields along the road. We traveled during the Spring time when farmers starting transplanting their rice everywhere. The scenery is more interesting from Tuyen Quang to Quan Ba district, Ha Giang province.
Ha Giang is the province located at the highest latitude in Vietnam. It is bordered by Cao Bang, Tuyen Quang, Lao Cai, and Yen Bai. It shares a border with China to the north. You can visit Ha Giang by car driving on the National Route 2 through Vinh Phuc, Tuyen Quang. The national Route 2 that connects Hanoi, Tuyen Quang, Ha Giang was under construction in many places. However, the scenery along this route is beautiful. These are some pictures that I took during a trip to Ha Giang in the Spring 2007. I took pictures along the road from the front seat of the moving car, therefore, some pictures are not as sharp as I wanted. > |
