Ginkgo biloba: The word ginkgo is from the Chinese (later also Japanese) word Ginkyo meaning "silver apricot". This term is thought to come from a romanized version for the Chinese ideograph Yin Hsing (Xing). The leaves of ancient tree turn to a bright yellow color in the Fall.
