Because they are intelligent and docile, they have been widely used in the
lumber industry to haul heavy items such as teak logs.
Elephants are the largest living animals on land, they have the biggest
brains in the animal kingdom, live as long as we do, and form close,
long-lasting social bonds.
Even though Asian elephants are smaller than their African cousins, they
still get up to 11 feet tall and weigh over 10,000 pounds. |
