Summer Flower Gallery. Blanket flower Gaillardia. This Gaillardia cultivar is a hybrid typically growing 2-3' tall. Best grown in average, dry to medium wet, well-drained soil in full sun. Tolerates dry soils, but is intolerant of heavy clay soils. Flowers well without deadheading. Cut back flower stems at the end of the bloom season, however, to promote vegetative growth.
